Message from Principal
Dear Ben Franklin families,
Thank you for everything you’ve done to support your learners the past couple of weeks as we’ve moved to online learning in grades 3, 4, and 5. We’re looking forward to having grades 5K, 1, and 2 join later this week!
Moving forward, this Daily Learning Plans document will phase out as will the daily attendance form. This week will be the last that this document comes to you daily. Instead, we will shift back to using this Ben Franklin Weekly Bulletin, which was on pause for a short time, to communicate school-wide information. Please look for it in your email boxes weekly on Mondays from 4/20 through the end of the year. Lessons will be communicated directly through Google Classroom accounts for students (4K activities will be emailed to families daily). Finally, be sure to check the district family newsletter for any additional information you might need.
Governor Evers’ announcement last week that schools will remain closed through the end of this year brings some closure to the unknown we have had the past month, but also raises questions of what is coming next. As we continue growing in our development of online learning, the BF staff and district are committed to supporting and keeping you informed as much as we can. Please make sure to reach out if you have questions, concerns, or feedback so that we can support your child and you as much as possible. We love and appreciate each of you and remain here for you, even though it looks a little different. :)
Thank you for everything. Be safe and well this weekend,
Sarah Edbauer

Online Learning Update
Be sure to take a moment to review the District Family Newsletter (link newsletter here) as we move fully into online learning for students 5K-5th grades at Ben Franklin. It has all of the dates, timelines, and information you’ll need to help your student(s) successfully work through daily activities that will be on Google Classroom. Thank you for everything you’re doing to keep your student(s) engaged with school.
