We had an amazing week thanks to our staff lovingly welcoming our little Pandas! Visitors that came to help out were very impressed with our campus flow.
Library News:
Next week is Week A and we will start Library and Counselor classes! We will also start checking out books in the library. You can direct students to the board books, but if they are really excited about another book, that is fine. Students will leave books at school next week, and we will start putting carts in the hall for them to return books. Please see the iTips Smore for the link to the schedule. If you haven’t signed up, please do so ASAP. Remember that we must follow the schedule so that the library isn’t too crowded. Parameters for the library printer usage:
- Please do not send photos to be printed.
- Make sure images fit on an 8.5x11 paper size. Ms. Luna and Ms. Popkin will not resize. You can check print preview to see if it fits.
- Please do not logon to the circulation computer with your personal credentials. Printing must go through Ms. Popkin and Ms. Luna.
- If you need color printing, email Ms. Luna at stellaluna@irvingisd.net or Ms. Popkin at jpopkin@irvingisd.net
- Please remember, at this critial time of the year, creating badges for students is top priority in the library.

Facilities Compliance Guidelines:
Administration will conduct a facility compliance walk of the building on Friday. Please ensure that any material blocking doors is removed. Ensure that the pathway to the fire extinguishers are clear. Decorations may not cover the classroom door window or any exit doors. The entire window must be unobstructed.
District provided disinfectant wipes are to be utilized for cleaning tables and other areas in the classroom. Therefore, Lupe will be removing all spray bottles from the classroom. Please let Lupe know when you need more disinfectant wipes.
Information to know:
- All Staff: DO NOT enter the building through your classroom doors, you must badge in at the front or side of the building with your key access card
- Mrs. Yi is the person to contact when you will be absent or late. If late, please provide an estimated time of arrival. Her phone number is 469-510-7180
- Students will get IPADs this school year
Instructional Aides will receive an Acer Touch Screen Chromebook in place of the old Dell Chromebooks. The older Dell Chromebooks are being retired.
Christiy will begin labeling and delivering ipads to classrooms as soon as class rosters are set.
