This career generally requires a professional degree.

They go through an application process after a 4 year bachelors degree. A student has to undergo through a process of 8 years of education beyond high school with an additional 3-8 years of internship and residency (4 years undergraduate)+(4 medical schooling). Premedical students must complete required courses such as biology, chemistry, physics, and calculus.
