Weekly Treasure
London Intermediate Newsletter-October 16, 2020
Mission Statement
London ISD is committed to the future of all our children, preparing them to become productive, responsible members of society. We pledge ourselves to prepare all students for the challenges and changes of the future.
We have successfully wrapped up the Second Six Weeks of the school year! We will be on Intersession from October 17th-October 25th. Classes will resume Monday, October 26th. Students, staff and parents working together has ensured a successful return to school!
Today marked the end of the grading period. Official report cards will be posted to the parent portal Tuesday, October 27th. Please be sure to continue to check your child's work that comes home in their work folder and check the portal for grades regularly.
The Third Six Weeks will begin a new phase for some of our students making their transition to on-campus instruction. Separate communication went out to families earlier this week along with an informational newsletter to assist with the transition back. Separate communication also went out to families of students remaining online.
A couple of reminders:
*Morning drop off and afternoon pick up are located at the Middle School horseshoe area. The parking lot by the library IS NOT a drop off or pick up location.
*Please be sure to have water bottles and jackets labeled with your child's name.
*Staff will use this week to rest and enjoy family time. They will be unavailable throughout their week off.
Over intersession, deep cleaning and sanitizing will take place. Additionally, the custodial crew will be hard at work using the spray disinfectant to coat surfaces throughout the facilities and buses.
We hope everyone enjoys their intersession! We look forward to seeing everyone back safe and healthy on October 26th!
Thank you for your continued support!
Sincerely,
Lori Maldonado
Intermediate Principal
