PRAYER is a primary work of God's people. It is a vital connection to God where we can hear from, listen to, and respond to the Lord. We encourage you to pray for these requests during the week. "For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayer". (1 Peter 3:12)


  • Lois Whipp is in the hospital due to complications with her breathing.
  • Al Berg is recovering at home after being in the hospital with lung issues.
  • Craig Bangert is home recovering from knee surgery.
  • Pray for Elder Kevin Westbrooks, that his immune system would remain strong as he awaits a bone marrow transplant.
  • Pray for Larry Daggert who has cancer. Chemo appears to be reducing the size of the tumor; however, he is in a lot of pain and his red and white blood count is very low.
  • Linda Wisnewski is back in a rehab center, due to many serious health concerns.

  • Protection for our military, law enforcement, first responders, revival in America, and God’s wisdom for the President and political leaders.


  • Rick von Albrecht and his wife, Carol, and their adult children Shannon (Shawn), and Christian (Linda).

  • Pastor of the Week:

    Adam Prough, his wife, Rebecca, and their children Audrey, Colin, and Jackson.

Grace Adjekum

Wycliffe Bible Translators, London UK

Grace continues to work helping to administer the Wycliffe Training Program in London. Despite her very difficult circumstances, Grace pushes on through her physical struggles, always toward her Savior, knowing that He has much Kingdom work for her to accomplish.

Prayer Requests:

  • Please pray for improvement in health issues that are lingering from last year.
  • Please pray for the preparation of the 5 books of Moses (The Torah) for printing this year for the Anufo Project.
  • Please pray that God would provide the needed funding to build an apartment with disability access for Grace.
CCC contributes to the financial support of 19 missionary couples, 3 individuals, and 6 missions agencies in the United States and 11 foreign countries. [Click Here] for more information.

We are still in need of more volunteers and Candy for our Harvest Festival. Fill out the Volunteer Form and bring it on Sunday or sign up at the Lobby Counter. Candy may be dropped off in the Lobby on Sunday or the school office during the week. Contact Sherry or Mimi (520) 296-8501.

Auditions for the Festival of Carols drama will be Next Sunday, October 28 from 12:15-2:00 p.m. in the choir room. There are no children's roles. Performance dates are December 14, 7pm, December 15 & 16 at 5pm.

Christmas Gifts to the World

Stop by the Plaza Table on October 28 or November 4 and pick up an Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box along with a list of suggested items & instructions ($9 to cover shipping) OR select the picture of a child in our First Love Kenya Orphanage to purchase a gift for ($25 suggested). Make a difference in our world this Christmas. Everything should be completed by Sun., November 18.

20/20 Vision New Sunday Equipping Class

Join us on Sunday, November 4 at 10:45am, for this 5 week study on a biblical worldview! Teacher - Andrew Montaño. According to research studies, less than 19% of "born again believers" have a biblical worldview. This class seeks to address this issue head-on! Anyone ages 13+ are welcome at this class, believer or non-believer. Students will receive access to electronic materials at no cost.
