Lake Victoria
Lake Victoria is the largest lake in Africa and is the chief reservoir of the Nile River. It lies in Tanzania and Uganda. The Lake Victoria region is one of the most densely populated in Africa; within 50 miles if it's shores lives several million people that speak Bantu. There are a lot of amazing things that you can do in lake Victoria, like go to the Kaya spa or Oloolua Nature Trail. You can even go on day tours and learn what life is like in Lake Victoria.
Niger River
Niger River is 2,600 miles long and rises on the Fouta Djallon Plateau in southwest Guinea and flows through Guinea into the Mali Republic. It's a major source in the region is fish. just like Lake Victoria there are a lot of cool things you can do. Like you can go to the Ayorou Market and but a camel or you can go to a tribal festival. You can go and explore the Air Mountains. You can even sail the Niger River.
Sahara desert
The Sahara Desert is the world's largest desert (3500,000 square miles). It extends from the Atlantic Ocean to the Red sea. It's boarded on the south by the Atlas Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. The Sahara Desert has one of the largest climate in the world ( strong winds) that constantly blow from the northwest. Unlike the Lake Victoria and the Niger River you can't really do a lot of things when visiting the Sahara Desert. I think that you can only go in tours because it takes at least two days to actually go to the Sahra Desrt.
Atlas Mountains
The Atlas Mountains is a system if ranges and plateaus in the Northwest Africa (1,500,miles) from the Southwest Morocoo through Algeria to North Tunisia. They are the highest mountain ranges found. Just like the Sahara Desert I think you can only hike the mountains but I'm not so sure.
