Upcoming Week in Review!
Quote of the Week: "Great things never come from comfort zones".
PLCs:
January 23rd; 3rd Grade
January 24th: 4th Grade
January 25th: 5th Grade
Faculty Meeting: January 24th
Focus: Standards Based Reporting and Unify
Session1 (Room #606 or #607) : Bring a class artifact (PCR, writing task, CGI, OA/NBT etc.) and work with a group of peers to calibrate ratings (e.g., DC, SC, PC, NY). Consider discussion of ideas to build overall consistency of ratings. Bring any resources you would like to share with colleagues helpful in determining ratings. Discuss next steps for future collection of class artifacts and things to consider to make the process consistent and valuable. You can chose to work with your team or do vertical articulation.
Session 2 (Media Center): Learn how to create a student record sheet (showing student work) of a PCR or CGI that can be scanned into Unify. Please bring ONE PCR or CGI problem to use during the session. This could be a great way to begin to build a portfolio with your students' work while adding valuable student data in Unify.
The Great Kindness Challenge: Students are not allowed to wear swimsuits, flip flops or masks. Students can wear hats and face paint. Let's all participate and make this a great week!! Please see information sent out by Dr. Ramirez for more information about the week.
