Thank you Wild Rose Families for your donations to our Write a Check Campaign! We are very fortunate that we were able to raise almost $12,000 for our Wild Rose Students and staff. This fundraising is used to help enhance our Wild Rose Classrooms, Instructional Spaces, and benefit our Wild Rose Students all year long! Thank YOU so very much!

Conferences are on Thursday, October 6th from 8 am to 8 pm and Friday, October 7th from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Families are to enter and exit through the front door of the building. Please go to the classroom and wait patiently outside the classroom door until your determined conference time.

Student Clothing

PLEASE put your child's last name on the tags of their coats, sweatshirts, ANY outerwear. The weather changes throughout the day. Students are continually removing their sweatshirts and coats. It is a lot more likely that your child will get their clothing back if their last name is in their clothing. It is so very helpful for all of our staff to look at the tag and get items back to students. It is always recommended that water bottles and lunch boxes are also labeled for easy return of item if they are misplaced.

Lost and Found

All items currently in the lost and found will be out for viewing at the front door when walking into the building. PLEASE take a look at the items to see if any belong to your child(ren). All will be donated after conferences.

Fall Celebrations and Halloween Costume Guidelines

We will have an OUTDOOR parade on Monday, October 31st @ 1:30 PM on the back blacktop of the playground in the back of the building. Parents can line-up along the outline of the blacktop. Students will parade by grade level from kindergarten to fifth grade for all to see. If we have inclement weather the parade will be inside the community room and gym spaces.

Celebrations in classrooms will begin at 1:45 PM. Volunteers for classrooms can arrive at 1:00 to set up and help classroom teachers prepare for the parade.

There will be no food at any of the celebrations at school.

Costumes will be put on in the afternoon prior to the parade.

  • No fake weapons allowed at school
  • No scary, blood, gory or costumes that encourage violence
  • Costumes must be appropriate for school
  • No scary masks or scary make-up
  • Blow up costumes are allowed, but students will be asked to deflate their costume in order to participate in classroom activities.

If you feel your costume is questionable for school, I would trust your feelings and choose something different. If you have any questions you can always call the office and ask.

Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to a fun day.

Safety Reminders

We have a very friendly Wild Rose community, which we love, but each individual needs to buzz into the main office. Please do not hold the door open for someone behind you. The safety of our Staff and Students is our top priority, therefore everyone needs to ring the bell and state who they are and their reason for coming.

Thank you for your understanding & cooperation with this.

Scholastic Book Fair

The Fall Scholastic Book Fair will be on October 17-20 in the ALC and online. Students will be able to browse and make purchases during school hours and with their parents at the Family Event on October 20.

  • Go cashless with eWallet! Fund your child's eWallet on the book fair website, print the confirmation for your child to bring to school and don't worry about sending your child with cash. You can also share your child's eWallet with family members so they can help your child get even more books.
  • We can't run a book fair without volunteers; set-up, tear down, help kids choose books and help our school earn hundreds of books for classrooms and the library. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0e44afab2fa2fcc16-wild
