CAMPER OF THE WEEK

Our Cool Camper this week is Nate Tharaldson! He has shown a growth mindset and is such a hard worker!

PINK OUT NEXT FRIDAY!!

Next Friday, October 21st we want a pink crowd for Celebrate Carroll in honor of breast cancer awareness month! Wear anything pink that you have: hats,sunglasses, shirts, jewelry, etc.

Want to see your child's grades at home?

Be on the lookout for an email that was sent out today from Frisco ISD about HAC. We are one of the schools in the district that is piloting this program. You will now have access to your child's grades at home. Visit the link below to keep up to date with your child's weekly grades and progress reports.

A Note from Mrs. Coday

4th grade will be singing on October 21st at Celebrate Carroll to kick off Red Ribbon week. They need to wear red. Thank you!

WHAT DID WE LEARN THIS WEEK?

Math: We learned how to use our strategies to solve multiple-step problems.


Reading: We learned how to write a summary using a story arc to brainstorm my ideas.


Writing: Students have learned how to refer to mentor text for writing strategies.



Science: We learned about the observable patterns on Earth, the moon and the sun.


Social Studies: We learned about American Indians.
