No School Tomorrow - Friday, October 19
New Secretary - Taylor Schlief
We are excited to introduce our newest member of the Blair Oaks Elementary family!
Hello, I'm Taylor Schlief, and I'm super excited to be joining the team here at Blair Oaks Elementary. I'm from Doniphan, MO which is close to the AR state line. I graduated from Couch High School in 2009. Two weeks after graduation, I married my now husband, Marcus. Together we have 2 children Blaine Marcus, who is 7, and Audrey Michelle, who is 4. My husband, Marcus, works for the MSHP and recently got promoted to the aircraft division, which is what brought us to Jefferson City. I look forward to meeting everyone and making great memories here at Blair Oaks!
As Mrs. Amanda Yoder's time here at Blair Oaks is coming to a close, beginning Monday, October 22, 2018 please begin e-mailing transportation changes and other updates to tschlief@blairoaks.org in addition to jhull@blairoaks.org.
Thank you to members of the High School Wrestling Team for speaking to our students this morning!

Quarterly Service Project: Change Bandit
Our second quarterly project is a partnership with University of Missouri Children's Hospital in a community service project called Change Bandit. The concept is simple: gather up loose change and make a big difference in the lives of children who come to Children's Hospital every day. We encourage you to ask family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers to donate their loose change to the fundraising effort.
A flyer with this information went home earlier this week. We will have a grade level competition. The class from each grade level that donates the most money will receive a popcorn party.
Dates: October 15 - November 16
