I have been told that I have high self-esteem. I would like to think that I do. I don't think that if someone said that they didn't want to be my friend anymore that it would affect me much. I'm sure that I would be upset about it but I would not let it get to me. I don't worry about what other people think about me because that only approval I need is my own. A quiz that I took said that I have a well balanced realistic sense of self-esteem. The affect of low self-esteem is low confidence levels, lack of effort, and avoidance behavior(www.livestrong.com). Some ways that I think you can improve you self-esteem is to have a positive outlook on life. You can also think more highly of yourself than you usually do. Those are some ways to maintain or improve you self-esteem.
