Should Girls Play on Boys Athletic Teams
Parents of girl athletes get ready! Girls who want to play sports on a boys team want more of a challenge than playing on an all girls team or better competition. It isn't the parents choice, it is the kids choice. But could they be putting their health in danger? The health of girls playing on boys team isn't the same as when playing on an all-girls team. Boys are a lot stronger, bigger, and faster. Girls who play contact sports on a boys team have a better chance of getting injured than on being on an all-girls team.

Does girls playing on boys athletic team have a positive effect or negatives effect on all players????
Girls playing on boys teams has a positive effect on all players. Female athletes have the same rights as male athletes to play on a male team. One reason why female athletes should be allowed to play on a male team is that if there are no female teams, girls should be allowed to try out for the boys team. According to the article "Should girls participate on boys team?", 14-year-old Sarah had been playing for the All-Star girls soccer team for the past three years, and on registration night Sarah and her father were informed that due to budget reductions, the girls soccer team had been dropped. If Sarah couldn't play on the boys team, Sarah would not be able to play soccer at all. Another reason why female athletes have the same rights as boys to play on their team is that female teams are not always afforded the same benefits as boys teams. Girls always get uniforms, equal gym space, a qualified coach, and the right equipment. Also according to this article the girls teams or leagues do not receive as many resources as the boys teams and if girls compete on boys teams they have more opportunities for talented females . The final reason why female athletes should be on male sports teams is because the male athlete teams are taking all the time for the gym space and the girls teams don't have any gym space. In the text it states "building a sport system is a long-term goal that organizations and institutions must consider in their deliberation related to the girls eligibility in boys activity."
Is it important for girls to play on boys teams
It's important to offer opportunities for girls to play on a boys team if they so choose. Girls who are thinking of taking the chance to be on the boys sports team should really take the chance to plan a boys sports team. One reason why I think females should be able to play on a male sports team is that every good woman athlete has every right to be on a males sports team. According to that article "Should my daughter play for a girls team or boys team" it states "allowing girls the right to compete on the boys team, does not have an adverse impact on the boys team. It comes at the expense of a loss of participation on the girls team". Furthermore it girls want to be on the boys team it is their decision so they can be putting their health at risk if they are not prepared enough. Additionally, girls joining boys teams for sports will open up more spots for the girls team. For example, if a girl moves to join a boys team a spot opens up for another girl who wants to play on the girl team. In conclusion, girls should join boy athletic teams so they can get recognition and more opportunities rather than on an all girls team.
What do the people think
Critics argue that girls playing on boys teams has a negative effect on all players. However, there are reasons to oppose this point of view because if girls choose to be on a boys team it will bring better opportunities for not only the girls but also the boys than if the girls only played on the girls team.
The Final Result
In conclusion these are a few persuasive facts for those who think girls should be allowed to play on a boys athletic team or that girls shouldn't be allowed to play on a boys athletic teams. Which side are you on?
