From the Principal's Desk....
Evaluations - I will be working on finalizing summative evaluations. We will hold 15-minute evaluation meetings on Tuesday, June 5th. I will attach a sign-up sheet below. If you would like to schedule a longer meeting, please let me know.
Retentions - All retention letters are ready to be sent out. Please stop by the office tomorrow to sign the letter if you are recommending any students for retention for the 18-19 school year prior to the office mailing them out.
Field Day - Field Day has been scheduled for Monday, June 4th.
Placements- Student placements will take place on Wednesday, June 6th. I will send out the schedule later this week. Please bring your placement cards with you at your grade level's designated time.
- Lesson Plans - Lesson plans should be up-to-date on the first student day of each week.
- NWEA Testing – All 2nd-4th grade students should only be taking the math and reading assessments. The language usage test is not required. Please make sure testing is complete by Wednesday, May 30th.
- 5D+ Evidence Feedback - Please make sure the 5D+ evidence form is shared with me by Wednesday, May 30th. Refer to the e-mail I sent out on May 9th for more information.
Summer PD Opportunity - Techtastic Extravaganza III
REMC 9 is thrilled to announce that we will be offering our summer professional learning event, Techtastic Extravaganza III, June 22, 2018 at the Saginaw ISD Transitions Center from 8:30 - 2:00. There will be numerous technology integration sessions to choose from with a wide range of extremely talented educators presenting.
Registration and breakfast begin at 8:30 am. Lunch is being served and SCECH's are pending for this PD. This year there will be more and better giveaways than ever, including 25 Chromebooks and plenty of Ozobots, Spheros, Microbits, and much more. There is no stipend this year.
Registration is FREE!
