This week, your journal prompt will be in Google Classroom titled “Week 1- The Unexpected Break”. Please be sure to fully develop the prompt. I will attach a copy to share my personal journal entry with you.
Math
Science:
All lessons for science this week have been assigned in my Google Classroom under the classwork tab. I have all lessons organized under each day of the week, but I have made the start date for all on Monday so that you may work at your own pace.
This week you will be creating a Google Slideshow about the digestive system. I have left specific instructions in the assignment to let you know what belongs on each slide. PLEASE remember to create the slideshow from the assignment. If you create it in your Google Drive, I will not be able to see it.
I have attached any links and forms that you will need in Google Classroom, and I have emailed you your personal login information for Stemscopes so that you'll be able to login once we have assignments using that resource.
Please note the login information for BrainPOP is as follows: Username: mpavolini Password: Pirates4
If you do not understand something I have assigned, please leave a comment at the assignment and I will respond. You can also email me.
Social Studies:
The lessons for social studies are also on Google Classroom under the classwork tab. Under each day of the week, you will see a social studies assignment as well as the science. I have already emailed you the login information for MS Studies. Please let me know if you have any problems logging in to the articles. I will be checking comments and emails, so please keep me posted on how it is going. Even though the assignments are organized by the days of the week, I have made them all available to you on Monday, so that you may work at your own pace.
We will most likely be using BrainPOP videos at some point for social studies, too. The login information is the same as it is for science. Username: mpavolini password: Pirates4
I have also uploaded a cursive packet in Google Classroom. If you are able to print some of the pages, please practice while at home. If you cannot print the pages, you can still scan the QR codes and watch the demonstration on the correct way to form each letter. Then you can use any available paper to practice, keeping in mind some letters only go to the middle, some drop below, and some go all the way to the top line.
