This Is How We Lakeview
December 2022 Edition: Volume 2
Reminders for a last few weeks before winter break
Just a reminder that Quarter 2 ends on December 20th. This means that we will do an eligibility check for all of our winter athletes at this point. Athletes must be passing 5 out of their 6 classes. Please go in to Infinite Campus and check on your student's grades and missing work.
We have also had an uptick in students reporting lost or dropped AirPods. Just a reminder that these are super hard to locate on camera if they are dropped due to how small they are, which is why we have asked students not to bring them to school. They are a student's responsibility if they choose to bring them to school.
Tuesday, our 8th grade students will be traveling to Eastland and Fairfield Career Centers. Reminder that students will need a packed lunch for the day. The students will be leaving around 10:00 am and returning around 1:30 pm.
Updates from Student Council
Next week, Student Council would like for everyone to participate in spirit week.
Monday is meme Monday - dress up as your favorite meme
Tuesday is student/teacher swap day - students dress like teachers, teachers dress like students
Wednesday is ugly sweater day
Thursday is throwback Thursday - dress like you're from the 90’s, 80’s, or older
Friday is Panther pride day - wear Lakeview colors or panther gear
Student Council will also be selling candy grams next week during E/I. Students can send friends a candy cane with a special note. Candy grams will be on sale for $1 each. All candy grams will be delivered Dec. 19-20.

FROM OUR SCHOOL COUNSELORS
There can be a lot to enjoy – time with family and friends, special events, and gifts. It can also be stressful juggling your kids’ events and your own, not to mention year-end deadlines, changing schedules and other stressors.
The behavioral health experts at On Our Sleeves have four ideas to help you cope with stress and increase your family’s enjoyment of the season—and your own!
