CSE'S Friday E-Folder
Friday, January 27, 2023
Dear CSE Parents and Guardians,
Congratulations to our 4th grade students in Mrs. Wilson's, Mrs. John's and Mrs. Garza's outclasses on a wonderful performance on Wednesday. We are excited for the upcoming performance from Mrs. Anderson's, Mrs. Sabio's, and Mrs. Triska's outclasses next Tuesday, January 31st.
Also, we would like to support our gratitude to our parents for their support and patience as we dismissed students following severe weather throughout the school day this past Tuesday. Thank you!
The district is excited to announce that more than 80,000 students are now enrolled in FBISD!
This is the first time in the district’s history that enrollment has exceeded 80,000. Let’s all celebrate by taking FBISD back to the ‘80s. Next Thursday, February 2, staff and students are invited to come to school and work dressed in ‘80s attire. Remember to dress appropriately, following the district’s dress code.

Attendance information
Cornerstone Elementary recognizes the value and importance of school attendance and encourages regular attendance to help our students be successful through the school year. Please email the attendance office within five days of the student’s recorded absence explaining the reason for the absence or the absence will be marked as unexcused. You may send an email to AttendanceCSE@Fortbendisd.com. For any attendance questions please contact Debbie Lobo - 281-634-6404.
Lunch Visitors
At this time, we are able to have 4-6 students at each lunch have one or two guests join them for lunch.
Since space is limited, we ask that parents share the opportunity to visit as we will not be able to host every parent, every day. We strongly encourage parents to sign up only one time per week if space allows.
Safety and Security is our number one priority. For this reason, just as we did last year, we will ask guests to use a sign up genius to sign up in advance. CSE asks that families sign up no more than one time a week to allow all interested families the opportunity to join their student for lunch.
Sign Up Genius for Lunch Visitors
We will not be able to host lunch visitors on Wednesday, December 14th due to schedule changes with our PTA provided Winter Wonderland Day. Also, Friday, December 16th is an early release day and we will not be able to accommodate lunch visitors with our changes in schedule.
Please remember to bring a photo id with you to campus as this is required to be signed in to campus as a visitor.
District Offering Social Emotional Webinars for Families
Fort Bend ISD’s Behavioral Health and Wellness Department will offer monthly seminars again this year that will provide mental and physical health resources for families. Each seminar will focus on a different area of health for students and families and are aligned to the District’s mission to support the mental, behavioral, social, emotional and physical health of all students in FBISD. The seminars are part of the District’s Whole Child Health Initiative.
The hour-long seminars will be virtual and no registration is needed to participate. All seminars will begin at 6 p.m.
