News and Tidbits
Dear Falcon Ridge Families,
I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to update you on how the school year is progressing and share some important upcoming dates and information.
First and foremost, we want to express our gratitude for the incredible outpouring of support we have received from all of you. Your positive feedback, comments, and emails have been heartwarming and motivating for our dedicated staff. Your partnership in your child's education is truly appreciated.
Mark your calendars for Parent-Teacher Conferences, which will be held from September 27th to 29th. These conferences are a vital opportunity for us to discuss your child's progress, address any concerns, and celebrate their achievements. More details regarding scheduling will be provided by your child's teacher in the coming weeks.
PTO Spaghetti Dinner:
This Friday, we are looking forward to the PTO-hosted spaghetti dinner. It promises to be an evening filled with delicious food and wonderful fellowship. We encourage you to join us for this community event and connect with other Falcon Ridge families.
Monthly Student Birthday Celebrations:
To make your child's birthdays extra special, we have designated the last Friday of each month for student birthday celebrations. Your child's teacher will be in touch with you regarding snack contributions for these dates. It's a great way for each classroom community to come together and celebrate these important milestones.
After School Pick-up Procedures:
We appreciate your cooperation with our after-school pick-up procedures. Ensuring the safety of our students is our top priority, and your support in following these guidelines is essential. Please continue to adhere to the established procedures to help us maintain a secure environment.
Attendance and Grades:
We kindly request that you regularly check PowerSchool for your child's attendance and grades. Falcon Ridge's attendance guidelines have been put in place to provide the best possible environment for your child's success. Your involvement in monitoring their progress is invaluable, and we thank you for your ongoing support.
Once again, thank you for being such an integral part of the Falcon Ridge community. Your involvement and enthusiasm contribute greatly to the positive atmosphere within our school. We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming events and conferences.

Safe Student Pick-Up Process
As part of our continuous commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all our students, we kindly remind you of our designated student pickup protocol.
For the safety of our students, we ask that you please adhere to the following guidelines during the student pickup process:
Designated Pickup Spot: Please arrive at the designated pickup spot indicated by the school. This helps streamline the pickup process and ensures a smooth flow of traffic.
Teacher Supervision: Our teachers will be present at the pickup spot to assist with safely escorting students to your vehicles. This also allows us to verify that the student is being picked up by an authorized person.
Communication: If there are any changes to the pickup routine, such as a different authorized person picking up the student, please inform the school office in advance. This will help us avoid any confusion and ensure the safety of your child.
Patience and Courtesy: We kindly ask for your patience during the pickup process, especially during peak times. Your courtesy towards fellow parents and staff is greatly appreciated.
By adhering to these guidelines, we can collectively maintain a secure environment for all students. We sincerely thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
Thank you for your ongoing support in prioritizing the safety of our students.
We are so grateful for all the new parents jumping in to help with PTO! It takes a village. We are so happy to have you!
