Read Across America Celebration - Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!
JF Cooper School LOVES Dr. Seuss and The Cat in the Hat! Every year, we celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday (March 2nd) with a week-long celebration! Check out the awesome ways we are celebrating:
- Monday, Feb 29th - Fox In Socks Day - Wear your craziest socks to school!
- Tuesday, March 1st - Crazy Hair Day - Bed Head? YES!! Wear your hair in a crazy way to celebrate Cindy Lou Who and Dr. Seuss' other wacky characters!
- Wednesday, March 2nd - Pajama Day - You are invited to wear your school-appropriate pajamas to school so we can snuggle up with a book and read during our annual "Great Cooper Read-In"!!
- Thursday, March 3rd - Favorite Character Day - Dress up as your favorite book character or in red, black, and white (the colors of the Cat in the Hat).
American Red Cross Month
Every eight minutes, the American Red Cross brings help and hope to people in need, thanks to heroes who donate blood, money, and time. To find out how you can help, check out the American Red Cross website!
National Craft Month

Youth Art Month

It's National Pi Day!!!! Pi is the ration of a circle's circumference to it's diameter. Pi is a constant number, so no matter how big or small the circle is, the ratio will remain the same!
