Take a moment and reflect...
We appreciate your partnership in our efforts. Thank you for your support, communication and dedication to your child's learning. Together we can achieve great things!
Make-Up Day Survey - Please complete!
You're invited to complete a brief make-up day survey. BCS administrators will use your input to identify strategies to meet the North Carolina calendar and instructional time requirements.
You are encouraged to share your preferences and thoughts with us.
The survey is located on the BCS homepage, www.buncombeschools.org.
You may also access the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2018MakeUpDays
Please note, the survey will be open until Monday, February 5, at midnight.
WE HAVE BIG NEWS TO SHARE!
If you are interested in this topic and how it will impact our schools next year, you are encouraged to follow our lawmakers while they are session this Spring.
Parents: Please remember that parent pickup outside the gym door in the afternoon is for families who WALK off our campus. If you need to skip the car rider line due a medical appointment, then you need to check your child out at the main office. Thanks for following school procedures so we can keep our students safe!
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Goodwill Drive!
WvES collected 3345 pounds of donated items, to help those in need within our community! We are so grateful…your effort and support are so appreciated – thanks again!
Goodwill estimates that 24 pounds of donations allows them to serve 1 individual through our mission work. Because of your recent efforts, over 130 individuals will be served by one of Goodwill’s life enhancing programs!
In addition, our school earned $836.25 because of your generosity! These funds will be used to support Leader in Me initiatives or updates to the playground.
Thank you!
Congratulations to our latest Student Leaders of the Month!
Please encourage your child to check the lost and found area! We had to buy a new hanging system because we had so many items!
