Flexible Access Library - Send 'Em Down!
The CLC opens everyday at 7:45 a.m. and stays open until 3:30 p.m. Many of our students are avid readers and really need to come to the library more than once a week. Students need their IDs to check out their books.
Be sure your students are logging the books they have read in their ELA teacher's Google Classroom. On the about page in Google Classroom you will find the form for 25 Book Challenge.

Benefits of Graphic Novels
When you see a learner reach for a graphic novel, don't assume he/she is not "really" reading. A lot of higher level thinking is required when reading a graphic novel because you are combining print-text literacy with image literacy. Additionally, the vocabulary found in graphic novels is frequently more challenging than you might think!
