Principal's Message

Good Afternoon Wolf Hill,

I want to thank you all for coming out to our Back to School Night event on Thursday! It was a great turnout and felt good to have everyone back in our school in person. I am confident that the sessions with your child's teacher were informative and exciting. The presentation from last night is attached below for anyone who was unable to make it.

I want to thank Ms. Gilsey again for organizing our "Start with Hello" week! It was a big hit at Wolf Hill! We finished off the week's events with a "Feel Good Friday!" On another note, please do not send your child to school with Pokémon Cards. They often get lost, stolen, or become the source of arguments amongst peers. After consulting with the staff from Champions Childcare, they are also requesting that Pokémon cards not be brought to before care or after care. Please keep them home where they are safe and accounted for.

Please review the lunch items in the attached PDF to clarify the pricing of items that are not included in the lunch for $3.50. Lastly, school is closed on Monday, September 26th in observance of Rosh Hashanah. I wish all those who celebrate a happy holiday weekend!

Have a great weekend,

Mr. Mags

"Start with Hello" Week!

This week Wolf Hill celebrated "Start with Hello" Week! The idea behind this week is to work towards creating a more inclusive school community aimed at acceptance for all. This initiative started as part of the Sandy Hook Promise organization. We are proud to partner with them and participate in this event each year!

We are very excited about our new STEAM special!! See some highlights from the first few weeks below! Ms. Mistretta is working hard to provide all of our students with hands on learning opportunities and excitement is buzzing!

Classroom Spotlight!

Miss G's 4th grade math students completed a scavenger hunt with rounding numbers! The students had to find statements around the room and write if they were true or false. The kids loved doing this while exploring the new media center!

Students in first grade celebrated the Star Spangled Banner's birthday with Mrs. Bach in music class!
Big picture

See pictures of our new sensory walkway below! The students are already getting a tremendous amount of use out of it! It has been a great addition to our new learning spaces.
