Board Meeting 12/11/20

Dear Chico Unified Community,

The State of California has issued a Regional Stay at Home Order that will go into effect tonight (12/10) at 11:59 p.m. Butte County Public Health recommends that we encourage virtual public participation at the December 11 Board of Education Meeting. Details regarding virtual participation can be found on our posted meeting agenda: https://simbli.eboardsolutions.com/SB_Meetings/ViewMeeting.aspx?S=36030732&MID=4829

The Board of Education will vote on the location of upcoming Board meetings, including whether Board Meetings will be in person or held virtually, as part of agenda item 3.5 (Set Date, Time and Place of Regular Meetings).

Until such time that the Board of Education has the opportunity to discuss and decide upon location and attendance parameters for Board of Education meetings, Chico Unified requests that the public follow the recommendation of Butte County Public Health and view the December 11, 2020 Board of Education meeting virtually.

Virtual Participation Details

*Please note that due to time limitations on the Board meeting and the high volume of speaker requests, the Board may not be able to hear from all speakers who submit a speaker card. To ensure your voice is heard, please be sure to also submit your comments to the Board in writing at publiccomment@chicousd.org.
