LFHS MEDIA CENTER
Welcome Back to School!
August 2016
Our year seems to be off to a great start and I hope everyone had a great first day. We are still waiting on student Google accounts. As soon as they are available I will get everyone logged in and started with Classroom. For now, take a moment to browse first Media Center Newsletter and let me and the Media Center become a resource for you and our students.
How can I make YOUR life Easier?
Let me help you and your students learn to navigate Google Classroom and other Google apps as soon as their logins become available. If you want help during your prep, email me at gweldon@blountboe.net and I will be happy to schedule a day to come to your room. Our 7th and 8th graders will be getting instruction during their exploratory class, but I would be happy to schedule time with our other students. Just let me know when you want to bring them to the media center.

Research Methods
Let me work with you and your students on your research projects. I can do lessons on smarter search methods, determining credible sources, the research process, how to avoid plagiarism, the best Alabama Virtual Library databases to use for your project and any other related topics you need me to cover. I would love to collaborate with you on your research assignments--no matter how big or small. Email me at gweldon@blountboe.net or book time on my calendar with the link provided below.
