Earthquakes
The most unexpected disaster
Earthquake Paragraph
According to National Geographic Kids, earthquakes are unpredictable events that can cause terrible disasters. The Earth’s crust is made up of 20 plates that are put together like a puzzle. When plates scrape, bump, or drag against one another, and earthquake begins. (Earthquake 2015) Most quakes are not felt by people because they are not powerful enough, or they are too far below ground or sea level. In addition, tsunamis, flooding, landslides, and much more can occur if an earthquake has enough power. Earthquakes can happen at anytime and take everyone by surprise since geologists can’t predict them yet. In conclusion, earthquakes are very dangerous, and can cause a lot of damage when they strike.
