Hillcrest Family Newsletter
March 15th, 2019
Thank You PTO and Families!
Thank you to Kim Smith and Nicole Grisar for chairing the event. There are so many details you both followed up with and the amount of outreach and planning required to pull off an event this size is remarkable. Thank you to Nicole Zeroth for organizing ticket sales, Lori Loeschmann and Heather Ward for all of the festive decorations. The bake sale was organized by Alyssa Ludtke and Angela Paap and thank you, also, to everyone who contributed all of the items for sale! Thank you to Nikki Hoch for organizing and wrapping the class baskets and Rob Grisar for being the emcee for the event. Thank you to Jessica Schilz for all of her work in organizing the delicious meal and auction items. Thank you, Shelly Gebert for organizing the class art projects and thank you to Andy Vossekuil for all the help setting up for the evening and for making us credit card ready. There are SO many more to thank...including Kat Kaiser, Stephanie Damien, Jen Thede and Jen Siefert. Thank you to all of the family members who donated time the night of our event and to the Hillcrest staff members who donated their time time, classrooms and recipes to make the night a success!

Please see the flyer displayed around school and attached in this newsletter. The website is rebrand.ly/waukesha-sings for more information and how to register your child for this event. Deadline is TODAY. Students MUST register in order to participate. The event is free our charge. Also, students CAN participate in both the optimist swim meet and the choir event! Safe Arrival - Available Now!
1) By far the easiest way to interact with the new system is by downloading the app on your phone and signing up for an account.
2) If you are not an app user and prefer to use your computer signup and login at https://go.schoolmessenger.com/
3) The phone option is still available by calling the attendance line at school. There will be a menu there to transfer your call into the new system. You may however, want to use the direct number 1-866-490-7371. By dialing direct from a phone that is registered with the district, the system should recognize the number you are calling from and be able to quickly identify your children and allow you to confirm their absence.
