Allen ISD to Host Bond Background Meeting
Looking for more information on the 2020 bond election? Join Allen ISD for a Zoom webinar on August 25th from 6-8 p.m. There will be presentations from AISD’s third-party consultants in the areas of demographics and finances, as well as information from Allen ISD’s Chief Financial Officer. The community is invited, and there will be time for questions.
You must register to attend. Register now at https://forms.gle/5zuMgQRTPSfn4CSi7
This informational meeting is one in a series of presentations to provide as much information as possible about the 2020 bond election on November 3. This first meeting will not focus on individual projects in the bond proposal, and instead feature background information that was provided to Project Kids (the 80-member citizen advisory committee) this summer.

20-21 School Lunch & Breakfast Program
In light of increased safety and social distancing standards, Student Nutrition will offer curbside meal service providing meal bundles two times per week for Allen ISD students (K-12) at five school locations. Meals (2 Breakfasts and 2 Lunches) will be offered on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 and on Friday, August 14, 2020 for the first week of At Home Learning at the Tuesday Meal Bundle Prices below. Curbside meals will be offered on Tuesdays (2 Breakfasts and 2 Lunches) and Thursdays (3 Breakfasts and 3 Lunches) after the first week. Meals must be purchased as a complete bundle, and cannot be purchased separately.
All meal bundles will be priced according to the student’s eligibility. Parents and/or students may pick up the meal bundles by scanning their student’s ID Card or providing their student’s ID number. ID Cards will be distributed at your child’s school. To help ensure a smooth purchasing process, please ensure that there is adequate funding to your child’s PayPams account or purchase meal bundles using cash or check by placing in an envelope with your child’s name and ID and depositing at the curbside meal station at one of the five locations. Students are encouraged to pick up meal bundles at the closest location to their regularly assigned school; however, any Allen ISD student can receive meals at any of the five locations from 11:00-1:00 (1 bundle per student per day).
Pricing for the Student Nutrition Curbside Service is below:
The five Allen ISD school locations for curbside meal pick up are

Vaughan PTA Membership Drive
Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year at Vaughan Elementary! We know this year may look a bit different, but we are so glad to be Vaughan Vikings. Vaughan PTA is still working hard to support the needs of all of our students, staff and community.
By joining PTA, membership is $10 per person, you are actively supporting the needs of all our students. As a special thank you, Vaughan PTA will be drawing three names from all who are members by September 18, 2020. The winning names will receive a special ballon yard art donated by Looney Bloons.
The yard art is a no contact reward and will be delivered without disruption. Yard art will be selected by the end of the 2020-21 school year. See sample photos below.
