CONGRATS ON AN AMAZING AUGUST!
It was a fantastic month, Blackstones! We closed up the Summer with a BANG. Our sales were up 54% from last August! Last year 6 of us qualified (sold $770 - it was higher back then! ;) and this year, we had 15. Wendy Harvey, Cati Young, Marla Johnson, and Angela Castillo all collected 30% in commission! Simply AMAZING. I am so jazzed by all of you and what we have accomplished in just a year's time.
So we have some extra special kudos to share. Shanna Bustichi Peuse and Nicole Boone both earned Level 1 (Neeya Earrings) of the Rock the Summer Challenge and Cati Young and Wendy Harvey earned all 3 Levels (Neeya Earrings & Bracelet and the Paris Market Tote)! You ladies are so inspiring for taking the reins of Summer and steering your business to earn those fab rewards.

As we enter September, I have chills thinking about what the next few months will bring for you and your businesses. Your September shows will help you slide you right into the BEST time of year. And with "Stack Up Your Rewards", you can earn an unlimited amount in Free Product Credit (see "September Tools" in the stylist lounge for details) to purchase pieces from the Holiday Capsule Collection for your Quarter 4 display!
This will be the 3rd time that I have experienced Q4/ the busiest and highest sales months of the year! I signed up on Sept. 8th two years ago and I had NO CLUE about all the glory that I was about to step into. PEOPLE WANT TO HAVE SHOWS AT THIS TIME OF YEAR! I've already had 3 people call ME to say that they are ready to book their shows for October and November. It's the season of "Low Hanging Fruit" - your friends, family, previous hostesses, best customers, and potential hostesses will WANT to do a trunk show with you. Why? The Fall Season is here and the holidays are fast approaching! Festive gatherings, gifts to buy, and holiday party outfits to adorn with our sparklies...so many reasons for your hostesses to have a trunk show!
It's time to go back to those seeds that you planted months ago. I have been emailing my Q4 hostesses from 2012 to let them know that it's time to do their annual show and they have first dibs on my dates! I have 2 booked for October (with past hostesses) and have many more to contact! I did this last year at this time and was able to get 20 shows on the books for Oct-Dec during September.
So dust off your 2012 calendar and call up those amazing past hostesses. And if you have never experienced a Q4 with Stella & Dot, contact those women who enjoy entertaining or would love getting her Fall wardrobe refreshed for free!
Since you will be filling up your calendar, be sure to take part in the Sparklettes' 12 days of Stella & Dot! If you have 12 trunk shows on your Trunk Show Pipeline (booked in the system) from 9/12---12/12 by September 15 11:59pm PDT your name will be entered into a drawing for 3 shopping sprees! Jenn's Office Hours
The reason why I started my business with S&D is because I knew it could work around my family's schedule and I have been so thrilled with the flexibility that it has afforded me. It really has worked beautifully side by side with my full-time mama gig. Our son, Cruz, just started Kindergarten and I have suddenly been hit with the reality that he won't be my little guy forever (I cannot believe 5.5 years have already passed!). I have a few more years before his friends become his priority and I don't want to miss out on this precious time!
What I know to be true is, setting a schedule is key. I want to make sure that I can give you 100% of my focus when you need to have a touch base call and that I also have set hours to give 100% of my focus to my personal business. Having a kid yelling in the background to help him get a snack or wipe his booty (yes, I said it) just doesn't match up well for either situation! LOL
My Touch Base Calls will now all take place on Mondays 7:30-10:30am & 7:45-8:45pm (20 min calls). If you are not in your Jump Start and would like to set up a touch base call or weekly call (to help you hone your booking/selling/sponsoring skills, to set your goals for Q4, or if you are interested in getting support to promote a career rank) let's get it on the books! If you would like to set up a call and cannot talk on Mondays, we can find a day/time that works for us both. :)
From 1pm-7:30pm M-F, I will give my focus to Cruz - having playdates, going to classes, running errands, making dinner, doing bedtime, etc. If you call or text me during the day, please know that I may not be able to respond back until night time or until the very next day as my nights will soon be full of Q4 TS's!
The other mornings I will be working with my new stylists to launch strong, sending warm-up emails, making booking calls, doing hostess coaching, customer care, listening to training calls, having calls with my pacing partners, meeting with potential stylists, etc. I will have Open Office Hours Wednesdays - Fridays from 11am-12pm. Things might come up from time to time and if for some reason you aren't able to reach me and you are in need of an immediate answer, please head over to SDU, our Blackstones and Sparklettes FB pages, or customer care. I love that we have "self serve" training and support right at our fingertips. ;)
