Week 6 ar Homework Packet

Focus: ar sound & proper nouns

Homework Guidelines

  • Use a pencil if possible please
  • Keep at home and return on Friday
  • Please encourage your child to do the work on their own so I can see what they can do independently
  • Students should write their own name on each page

Weekly Schedule

The suggestion of what to do each day on the cover page is a suggestion. Please do the pages as you need to to accommodate your schedule at home. I do ask that you please try to fit in reading every single night, 7 days a week. This will be a huge factor in your child's reading success this year.

Spelling word practice

Please have your child practice spelling the spelling words each night. Here are some suggestions in addition to writing the words:

  • make flash cards
  • create sentences using the words
  • Rainbow words (write each word with multiple colors tracing over each letter)
  • dry erase boards
  • create a matching game with 2 sets of spelling word flash cards

Parent Teacher conferences

Parent teacher conferences are coming up soon. Please check your email and sign up for a time slot on October 27th or 28th.

Please contact me if you need the email sent again.
