Week 4
It is going to be a busy week. We have a faculty meeting on Tuesday at 7:30am in the lecture hall. We will be taking a close look at the advisory curriculum and specific needs of your particular grade levels. You will also need to bring your laptops to this meeting. Early release on Wednesday will start out in your designated rooms from last week. You will pick up where you left off on the Black Board Modules. I would strongly encourage that your team finalize your CFA if you have not yet done so, remember you have your gallery walk on February 24th.
I was able to walk on of our board members around last Friday. It is always fun for me to show off the great things going on in your classrooms. Thank you for all you do in your classes every day, we saw some amazing things. Kids were engaged and working on projects or in teams on some great practice activities. I think my favorite part was how much I saw students working! He also mentioned amazed he was at our 9% increase in graduation rate last year. I told him just wait till he sees what we are going to do to it this year!
Have a great week!

Rigor-Relevance-Relationships
Are you using the district curriculum? The district curriculum is found on the s:drive under curriculum and then your particular content. I would encourage you to consider the rigor level of your curriculum. In some contents it may be appropriate and in others you may find yourself having to supplement in order to get the students to higher levels. Your PLC team should be discussing if the level of rigor in the district curriculum is correct, in matching with the PLD's, and if not how can we increase it to meet these new expectations.

Biggest Loser Competition
We have lost 106 pounds, since January 4th! Mr. Stinnett has reclaimed the title this week of biggest loser, and is currently at -6.22% weight loss in total! The competition is getting fierce with Ben Geiger, Jeff Newman, Michelle Gammon, Geoff Johnson, Lindsey Robertson, all over a 4% loss. Everyone is doing great, even with all the treats around the office. Keep it up and have a Who will be the ultimate LOSER?
Hats, Skateboards, and Passes
All of these items were significantly improved last week. Keep up the consistency with these items. Remember that you should not let students out of class to work on their senior papers. If we all work together and remain consistent students will understand our expectations and meet them!
