Aquatic Science Investigations
Grades Eligible: Rising 11th and 12th graders
Dates: Summer Research Camp Dates Session 1: June 6 - 10, 2022 Session 2: June 20 - 24, 2022
Application Deadline: May 13th
Camp Enrollment: Limited to 10 students
Cost: Free
The Aquatic Science Investigations Summer Program is designed for 11th, and 12th grade students with interests in Environmental Science, Geosciences and Biology and incorporates problem-based learning, field study and research, and field trips.
Environmental Sustainability Summit
Grades Eligible: Rising 11th and 12th graders
Dates: July 11—15, 2022
Application Deadline: May 13th
Camp Enrollment: Limited to 10 students
Cost: Free
The Environmental Sustainability Summit summer program is designed for 11th and 12th grade students with interests in sustainability and sustainable practices, group discussion and dialogue, and field trips.
Design Create Connect STEAM -
Grades Eligible: Current 6th - 9th
Dates: July 18—22, 2022
Application Deadline: Once spots are filled
Camp Enrollment: Limited to 30 students *you will still be able to apply after the 30 student limit as a waitlist will begin generating*
Cost: FREE
Our camps are one-week camps designed for girls who are interested in STEAM who want to expand their understanding of how science, technology, engineering and math apply to everyday life and /or arts.
Design Create Connect Coding - Python
Grades Eligible: Current 9th - 12th
Dates: July 18—22, 2022
Application Deadline: Once spots are filled
Camp Enrollment: Limited to 30 students *you will still be able to apply after the 30 student limit as a waitlist will begin generating*
Cost: FREE
Our camps are one-week camps designed for girls who are interested in Coding who want to design projects using HTML and build websites using Python.
GEMS Camp
Grades Eligible: Rising 7th- 9th graders
Dates: July 10th- 30th (3 different camps with different dates)
Application Deadline: Varies*
Camp Enrollment: Limited to 10 students per grade level
Cost: Full Tuition $875, GEMS Scholarship Assistance Available
** YWPN will be sponsoring the camp cost for 4 girls from Rangel. If there are more than 4 students from Rangel that apply, we will work with the GEMS Camp to evaluate the top candidates. If other YWPN campuses do not fill their slots we will open them up to the campuses who have more than 4 students accepted. If you apply and are accepted, but not one of the top 4 candidates that YWPN will be sponsoring, you can still attend the camp. It will be up to the student to pay the costs.

The Summer Camp Experience is a 1-week residential summer camp where girls are first introduced to the 5 Karat Gems Curriculum Framework. Imagine girls fully engaged, confident, and finally having fun while making friends in an interactive learning environment! Gems engage daily in STEM learning and confidence-building activities through the 5 Karat Curriculum.
