We are fast approaching the time when we begin the class placement process for students for the 2017-2018 school year. Please refer to the link below for information.

It was such a fun evening, as the students made the teachers and their parents so proud. These students will receive ribbons and certificates at an upcoming assembly. Special thanks go out to our Literacy Specialists, Dr. Erickson and Mrs. Gittelman, for organizing this event, along with our teachers who served as moderators for the event. Holland PTO Family Bingo Night
Date: Friday, March 24, 2017
Time: 7:00 pm
Where: Holland Elementary Multi-purpose Room
Cost: $5.00/person for up to 10 games of Bingo
Feature Game: $4.00/Bullseye Bingo Card
Regular Game Prizes include: iTunes gift cards, Toys R Us gift card, AMC Movie gift cards, Toys, Puzzles, Games, Game Stop gift card, and more!
One lucky winner will win a NAC 3 -month membership in a regular BINGO game.
A variety of beverages and snacks will be available for sale.
“LET’S COOK” GIRLS NIGHT

Time: 7:00 p.m.
Place: Holland Elementary Cafeteria
Cost: $20 per couple, additional girls, please add $5.00

Council Rock Joint PTO Fifth and Sixth Grade Social
DROP-OFF EVENT
When: Friday, April 28th, 2017 from 7–10pm
Where: Council Rock High School South (cafeteria)
Who: Students in fifth and sixth grades
Dress Code: School appropriate attire
Cost: $12 per student or$10 if you bring any non-perishable food item (see list of needed items on PTO Website)
Light refreshments available for purchase
Walk-ins ONLY, pay at the door with required signed permission slip

Author Visit
Author, Adam Lehrhaupt, will be visiting HES on March 30th and will be presenting to students in kindergarten (pm) through third grade. Mr. Lehrhaupt is the award-winning picture book author of Warning: Do Not Open this Book!, Please: Open this Book!, Chicken in Space, and I Will Not Eat You. He has traveled to six continents, performed on Broadway, and lived on a communal farm. Out students are so lucky to have this visit which is courtesy of the Newtown Bookshop.
Elementary Class Size Policy (PDF)
Administration Regulation 126.1 states “All new registrants will be guaranteed a space in their home school if they have completed the registration process for the next school year by June 1st.” To review the full regulation, please click the link above.

e-ENVIRONMENTAL Contest 2017
Use your creative energy and the computer to produce an electronic
e-ENVIRONMENTAL message for Earth Week!
- A winner from each of the elementary, middle and high school levels will be named.
- Elementary winners will also be recognized at the Elementary Media Festival.
- Winning messages will be posted on the Green Team website for everyone to see!
Students in grades 1-12 as individuals or groups of up to three students. Click HERE for more details about the contest.
