Death
Ernest died of intestinal paralysis at the age of 66, on October 19, 1937. He was buried in the Nave of Westminster Abbey.

About Rutherford
Rutherford was a New Zealand physicist who came to be known as the father of nuclear physics. He was born on August 30, 1871 in Spring Grove, New Zealand.
The Atom
He then conducted an experiment called Rutherford's Gold Foil Experiment which proved the existence of a small massive center to atoms, which would later be known as the nucleus of an atom.
