Flowery Flyer
Week of 4/11/16
Updates
The talent show was a huge success! Special thank to Bob Gossett for taking the lead with our new show format. The performing arts were instrumental in helping me break out of my shell as a shy and fearful child. I am convinced these kinds of opportunities open up our kids to discovering their capabilities, their strengths, and the power of vulnerability. The stage allows people to live in the "moment" forgetting about everything else and connecting 100% to their inner being. It's truly transformational! Thank you to Maestro Pope, Maestra Cavins, and Maestra Kristina for being champions of this event by giving their time to accompany an act, prepare an act, and supervise backstage. Our parent and community leaders made it all happen too! Gracias a Brenda Kracke, Erica Dardon, Dawn & Eric Thiellen, Diana Rhoten, & Isidro Calderon. Bravo to all!
Don't forget to send me names of students who deserve a positive phone call home by the principal. Here is the link to the document-positive phone calls home I love making these calls! Thanks to Lilia, Greg, and Jenny for providing names in the month of March. Keep them coming!
Please encourage your families to attend the Family Math Forum on April 13 6:30-8:00 p.m. SVHS Library
