Let the May-hem Begin
We will hold our May Faculty Meeting on May 2nd. Get ready to enjoy the May-hem!
We will use this link when we are ready to start sharing!
Stop the Bleed
All staff are required to complete this training prior to the end of the school year. This training will be held on May 2nd in the Multipurpose room (during planning periods).
Shine Time
Beginning May 3rd, we will no longer run traditional Shine Time groups. Please discuss a plan with your grade level and use Shine Time as you see fit.
Recess Reminders
Now that our schedule is back to normal and the weather is beautiful, it can be tempting to spend a lot of time outside. We ask that you continue to keep recess between 20 to 30 minutes.
Good Vibes from the Sawnee Tribe
Testing is in the books and we are moving into the final month of school! Please take a minute to recognize an amazing colleague who has gone above and beyond to serve our students.
You can send your recognition to any one of the APs and we will make sure to pass on those Good Vibes!
May is Mental Health Month
When we talk about health, it isn’t just physical health, it is overall health which includes mental, physical and emotional health. This year’s Mental Health Month theme is Fitness #4Mind4Body which focuses on how individuals can enhance themselves no matter where they are on their own personal journey to health and wellness. Mental Health America has created a fabulous toolkit for Mental Month which can be downloaded here.
