Week of January 5 - 9
Welcome Back
I hope that everyone had a great break. I want to thank each of you for the gifts that you gave me for Christmas. I loved each and everyone of them.
This next half of the year will be moving quickly. We have a lot to cover and some things will begin to get harder for your child.

We will begin Unit 9 this week. We will also begin to add extra stories in each week. This week we will be reading The Mitten by Jan Brett. We will be discussing new vocabulary and discussing cause and effect.
AR has began for the new nine weeks. Your child will take the star test this week to get their new ZPD. They may begin testing now. Don't wait until the end to try and get all the points.
