General Announcements:
Good afternoon,
We have worked to compile a comprehensive list of important dates. There are many dates and items listed but we wanted to get this out to you as soon as possible. We will continue to follow the district timeline with eLearning which is also included below.
Important Dates:
May 4-6
As we prepare for the 3rd Round of eLearning, the district Related Arts teams have compiled activities for your child(ren) to complete on May 4-6 (there is nothing your child(ren) will submit for these days).

May 6 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. (You will remain in your car as you drive through the carline to drop off/pick the following:
Pickup eLearning Packet 3 (following district guidelines, eLearning boards will be posted on our Google Site, Friday, May 8)
Pickup medicine that you have in the nurse's office-she will be there to pass this out. Medicine can only be given to the parent/guardian
Drop off eLearning Packet 1 and 2 (Please write your child’s name and teacher at the top right hand corner of your paper)
Drop off any Library Books your child(ren) have
Drop off Classroom Materials (any items that belong to the school or your child’s teacher-please put these items in a container/plastic grocery bag and label it with the teacher’s name so that we can return it to the teacher(s)
May 7 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (You will remain in your car as you drive through the carline to drop off/pick the following:

May 8 Packet and eLearning part 3 begins (these boards will be viewable on our Google Site beginning at 8am)
May 29 & June 1 Packet 3 dropped off at school & collection (a diagram will come out to show you the the drop-off/pickup procedure- this will take place at the back of the school since we we be distributing personal belongings and materials from the gym/cafe-you will stay in your car):
You will follow the traffic pattern (that will be sent in the diagram at a later date to pickup and drop off the following:
Drop Off: eLearning Packet 3 (Please write your child’s name and teacher at the top right hand corner of your paper).
Pickup: Being conscious of social distancing and the numbers of families we serve, we ask that you please (if at all possible) adhere to the schedule below to pick up your child’s belongings. Please come collect items in accordance with your child’s last name and time (found below). Your child’s personal belongings and materials (including musical instruments, art work (look for a special note about Square1 Art below), and yearbooks) will be collected and packaged by the teacher(s).
Times for Collection:
Letters, X-Z 8-9 am
Letters, T-W 9-10
Letters, Q-S 10-11:30
Letters, M-P 11:30-1:00
Letters, I-L 1-2
Letters, E-H 2-3:30
Letters, A-D 3:30-5:00
Deadline to pick up materials: June 1 at 5pm
If items are not collected at that time, they will be disposed of.
Lost and Found:
We will display Lost and Found items that you will be able to claim and take with you. See pictures attached in S’more for items. If you see an item(s) that belongs to your child(ren), please email Mrs. Wagner so that we can appropriately label and get to your item(s).

Emergency Meal Program:
The district is planning to continue our emergency meal program. For information about the program along with meal delivery and pick up times and locations please visit the emergency meal program page on the district’s website. We will be updating his page as new dates are added.

Opportunity to Support Fort Mill Care Center
We want to share an opportunity to support a wonderful local agency, Fort Mill Care Center. FMCC is a volunteer run non-profit organization of concerned citizens who address the immediate needs of other citizens within the town of Fort Mill and Tega Cay. They provide assistance with food, fuel, power, heat, and medicine to the citizens of Fort Mill, SC. If you would like to help support FMCC, please see below:
Donation of Pantry Items: If you would like to donate items for their pantry, they are in high need of the following for May: Canned Fruit, Canned Tuna, Canned Corn and dish washing liquid (not for automatic dishwasher). We will have boxes set out at TCES to receive pantry donations during Packet Drop off/Pick Up on May 6 & May 7. You may place items directly in the boxes for a contact-free donation.

Social and Emotional Learning Support
Social Emotional Learning Support
As previously shared, our school counselors and school psychologist are regularly updating their websites with resources for parents to access to support the social and emotional needs of students during this challenging time. In addition to parent resources, there are supplemental social/emotional learning activities and read alouds for students. Also, the school counselors have added a Virtual Check In Request Form to their website that parents, teachers, and students can access to request a virtual check in from a school counselor. If you need to contact the school, call the school and leave a message and someone will return your call. For questions and concerns, please call the front office at 803-548-8282.
Your child's teacher(s) has 2 Office Hours Monday - Friday and are available for help during that time. This will be a time that you can ask questions, etc. Please email the teacher and they will respond during this time.
