A Few Weeks In And We Are Off And Running!!!
Greetings To All Of Our Mesa Middle School Families!
We have the first few weeks of school under our belts and it has been a phenomenal start to the school year for our students. The students appear happy to be back at school and they are adjusting well to the new school year. The faculty and staff have worked hard to support our students and to make them feel comfortable in their new classes, schedules, and grade levels. In addition, teachers have taken the opportunity to get to know their students through innovative and engaging activities, which helps to set the stage for learning throughout the year.
As I wrote in my start of the year letter, please know that the main goal of every staff member of Mesa Middle School is to ensure that each student is provided the opportunity for a positive, productive, and safe school experience. This is our commitment to you.
Sincerely,
Tony Jackowski

Counseling Corner
Moving from the elementary level to the middle school level is considered to be one of the biggest transitions in education. Students can be nervous and/or anxious about moving into a larger building with more students. As educators, we hope to make this transition as smooth as possible and we offer support to those families that need help in this regard. Our services are available to all students and parents/guardians. These services are to support and guide all students so they can get the most out of their middle school experience. Students may make an appointment to meet with their counselors by stopping by the Counseling Office and obtaining a pass. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to contact their student’s counselor to discuss any concerns or questions that they may have.
