Feudal Social Structure of Japan~
The social structure of Feudal Japan was divided in 6 groups: The emperor, he was at the top of the social class, but he hadn't all the power. The shogun, he was the actual ruler of Japan. The Daimyo, they were wealthy landowners. Samurai, they were the Japan warriors. Peasants and Artisans, the largest class. Merchants, they were the lower class because they didn't produce anything on their own.
He was the first Shogun ever, he started the beginning of a shogunate (military-based government) that lasted until mid 80s.
