New "Buddy Bench" Installed at Central Elementary
Guidelines from the Buddy Bench website (www.buddybench.org) describe the proper use of the Buddy Bench:
• The Buddy Bench is not for normal seating. It is used by a student who needs a friend or she/he is having a bad day.
• If you see a friend you want to invite to play, you can get off the bench, go up to a person and ask if they would like to walk and talk or play today.
• If you use the Buddy Bench, you can make a new friend that you can play with more than once.
• The Buddy Bench should not be used by the same person every day.
• Once you make a friend on the bench, keep that friend by inviting them to play!
Thanks, Mr. Wagoner, for helping our Central Elementary students to make a new friend on the Buddy Bench!

Tuesday's Middle School Track Meet Results are Reported below by Coaches Shively and Hunter

@ BGMS track
It was a close one - coming down to the final event - to determine if Paul Hadley’s or Beech Grove’s girls would come out victorious. In the end, BGMS Girls’ took 1st overall in the meet winning by a narrow margin of only 3 points!
The wind in “The Pit” was intense and worked against the athletes for the most part so there were no personal best times or school records set, but it was great to see the team and fans getting excited for the last event to determine who the overall winner would be! The girls are finding their niches within the team and we as coaches are getting a really great idea of who is best in which event. We think we may be a great contender for the Conference Title again this year! We’ve only got three weeks left to prepare for Conference and things are looking good right now!
