Many countries around the world also celebrate this holiday to commemorate the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the importance of children, though the actual date of celebration may vary. The I.D.E.A. Committee is looking for parents to cheer on students as they enter the school that morning and help out at recess throughout the day.
