Alaskan King Crab
Natives fish during the fall months for the king crabs off of the Alaskan shore. The harvesting season is very short and they proceed to ship them to countries around the world. At the top of the King Crab industry, Alaska produces 200,000,000 lbs but has slowly been decreasing, possibly due to environmental issues. It is a very dangerous sport and on average one fisherman dies each week.
