Where they thrive

The siberian husky is an animal with a thick fur coat, so they tend to live in the colder regions of North America. An example is Alaska or Canada. However, they did originate in Siberia.


Huskies are carnivorous, and they enjoy raw meats and dog kibble.

The Alaskan Malamute is another type of dog that is closely related to the Siberian Husky, and they often get confused even though they are two types of breeds.

Huskies enjoy living in packs which is similar to wolves, however they are not related to wolves. They also attach to human families very easily.


Siberians were bred as sled dogs, so their basic purpose was for speed and power. They can reach up to 20 miles per hour, and can maintain this speed for long distances.
