Mrs. Palmer's News
Picture Day is next Wednesday, September 18th. Flyers were sent home Friday in the Rocket Folder. If you plan to purchase a picture package, money is due September 18th.
This is just a reminder about Rocket Binders. You should be checking your child's agenda every night to sign the communication log. This communication log lets you see the color your child was on at the end of the day and gives you the opportunity to discuss this with your child. Also, in the agenda will be a stamp if your child is not doing their homework. Make sure you are checking the Rocket Folder each night for any notes from me or the office. The majority of papers, especially graded papers, will be sent home on Friday.
Tuesday, September 17th is Constitution Day. Students are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue. Students will also be performing a song that morning around the flag pole. Hopefully, you have heard your child practicing this song at home. All students received a lyric sheet from Mrs. Lynch, the music teacher.
On Friday, October 18th, the 5th grade will be attending the Salt Festival at Big Bone Lick State Park. Permission slips will be sent home early next week. If you would like to chaperone this trip, you MUST have a recent background check on file. If you are unsure whether or not you have one, please contact Mrs. Looker in the office.
