St. Mary News
June 2019
Happy Summer Holidays!
I hope that you have enjoyed the school year. We thank God for this good year. We are also grateful to the teachers and staff for educating and helping us the past year.
This school year is going to end very soon. It also means that we will have summer holidays ahead. Summer is a great time for us to enjoy a very green environment, travelling and doing all sorts of activities with our families and friends. However, you should take good care of yourselves not only physically but also spiritually. At the same time, you also should remember to review what you have learned this year as much as you can in order to prepare for next year better.
By the way, we also say goodbye to the 7th graders. We hope that they will harvest more success in high schools. I wish you all would have a wonderful holiday.
May God bless you all!
Fr. Cuong Luong
Principal's Message
Mrs. Nichol and I were just remarking on how quickly this year has passed. It feels like yesterday when I walked into the building and began to organize the office. It has been an exciting year meeting new people and most of all developing positive relationships with the staff and students. I am in my 30th year of education next year and I would like to add that this has been one of the most rewarding and blessed years of my career. St. Mary is truly the most wonderful place to learn and grow in both faith and knowledge. I know I speak for Mrs. Nichol when I say that we thank the community of St. Mary for allowing us to be part of your family.
Our grade 7’s are leaving us this year to move on to John Paul Collegiate. JP is the place for your child. They truly care and support every child in their building. I wish all the grade 7’s the best-- you will be missed. They are a great group of students!
Have a safe and fun summer and we will see you in the fall!
