We greatly appreciate your continued patience and understanding as we continue to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic.

We fully recognize that this pandemic continues to create worry and stress for all involved. If you miss a call from LSE, please be sure to listen to your voicemails. We will always leave a message. Please ensure your voicemail mailbox is not full.

If your student is placed on quarantine, all classwork will be posted to their Google Classroom. Students will complete their work asynchronously. If you need to borrow a CCPS laptop, please call the office. We have laptops ready for distribution. Parents/Guardians will need to review and sign a laptop agreement when picking up the laptop.

Face Coverings

Students and staff must wear a cloth face covering that fully covers the nose and mouth that is secured using ties or ear loops. Face coverings must be a solid piece of cloth without slits, exhalation valves, or punctures.

Please note that masks with exhalation valves and gaiters are not in alignment with the state mandated regulation. Students not wearing a face covering that is in alignment with this regulation will be offered a reusable cloth mask.

Testing Information

CCPS is accepting Rapid tests; however, if both the Rapid and PCR tests are drawn, we must wait for the PCR results to be submitted.

Submitting Test Results

Please continue sending your student's test results to and Nurse Twigg We will reply to all emails with confirmation that your student is cleared to return.

Again, we very much appreciate everyone's continued patience and understanding.

To report a student's absence:

Please email and copy your student's teacher(s)

Call the main office at 410-751-3280

Automated phone calls for absences will occur unless an attendance email or phone call has been received.

  • GO SLOW on the LSE campus!
  • When picking up a child as a car rider, please have your number visible in your window or dash.
  • In an effort to keep the line moving, parents are asked to remain in their vehicles and allow children to get out of the cars independently using the door on the school building side of the vehicle.
  • Please follow the directions of those assisting with the flow of traffic on campus.
  • Buses ALWAYS have the right of way on campus.

Thank you for your support in ensuring the best interests of our students’ safety.

Congratulations to the following LSE Superstar Readers who participated in and completed the Carroll County Public Library (CCPL) Summer Reading Program! The following students earned at least 300 points and have been recognized by the CCPL. Great job—keep reading!

Linton Springs is looking for parents interested in coaching a book battle team. Teams would meet once a month at a place of your choice. Teams can meet in person or virtually. Please see the CCPL website for full information: The plan right now is to have the battle in person, but if the need arises CCPL will do the event virtually. The official book lists are also on their website: The CCPL has four parent and coach information sessions being held via Zoom and in person this fall.

Email Tally Myers at if you are interested in coaching a team.
