Herdina Construction Camp

When: June 6-10 and June 13-17

Who: Students aged 15+

Camp will mainly be at the M-State Moorhead campus this year from 8:00AM -4:00PM.

There is a $100 registration fee. (Financial assistance is available!). The students get hands on experience in all aspects of the construction industry. They also receive 3 college credits at M-State.

NDSU Creative Writing Camp

Open to students in grades 7-12!

Daily sessions include fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, fantasy, screen-writing, song-writing, cartooning and Zine making. Two sessions offered:

Session 1: June 27-July 1

Session 2: July 25-29

Sessions run from 9:00AM-4:00PM.

ND Boys State

North Dakota Boys State is a leadership academy which puts YOU in the position of power and influence.

When: June 12-17, 2022

Where: Campus of NDSCS

Who: Male students who have completed their junior year of high school.

Cost: Nothing! ND Legion Posts fund this fantastic opportunity!

North Dakota Girls State helps build self-confidence and discover things about yourself you never knew. Your voice matters.

When: June 12-17

Where: UND, Grandforks, ND

Who: Female students who have just completed her junior year of High School.

Cost: Nothing! ND Legion Auxiliary sponsors attendees.

ND Leadership Seminar

Since 1981, the North Dakota Leadership Seminar (NDLS) has provided more than 3,500 high school sophomores with the opportunity of a lifetime. What started out as a small project has turned into an exciting annual leadership seminar. Each spring, more than 100 of the state’s top student leaders gather for a three-day, all-expense paid program.

When: June 3rd - 5th

Who: Students who have completed their Sophomore or Junior year of HS

Where: University of Jamestown

Cost: Nothing! All costs are paid with the exception of travel.

This is a fantastic opportunity!!



Attend a half-day, in-person SEE session to:

  • Start your college exploration.
  • Experience up to 3 academic programs during the session.

Session Dates: Friday March 25th (afternoon), Saturday, March 26th (morning)

ND Parks and Recreation Jobs

The North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department is currently offering seasonal job opportunities for the upcoming 2022 season. Positions include Biological Science Technicians, Administrative Assistants, Park Rangers, Park Interpreters, Maintenance Associates and Customer Service Associates.

Natural Resources Camp

The Department of Natural Resource Management at South Dakota State University is hosting a Natural Resources Camp, July 18-22 at Oak Lake Field Station in Astoria, SD.

Possible activities the camp offers include Bird Banding, Lake Ecology, Pollinator Diversity, Camera Trapping, Dart Gun Shooting, Archery, Radio Telemetry, Small Mammal Trapping, Reptile Trapping & Ecology and Careers in Natural Resources.

Space is limited and admission is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Lodging and meals are included in the registration. Registration is $300 and closes on June 1, 2022.

ND Highway Youth Patrol Academy

ND Highway Youth Patrol Academy is a one-week residential learning experience for young adults aged 16-19. The 2022 Youth Academy is scheduled for June 20-24th at the Law Enforcement Training Academy in Bismarck, ND.

Health Care Professions Exploration

HOPE Camp (Fargo, ND) offers students 4 days of hands-on-activities and classes to explore a wide variety of health professions and health career opportunities while becoming familiar with the hospital and college campus settings.
