Major's Moment
Daylight Savings? ... Why? ... Lose an hour of sleep Lord? ... Please ... who started this anyway?
There are people for Daylight Savings, people again, states the observe it, states that don't. There are historical, economical, physiological, national, scientific ideologies for or against it's observance.
I don't know about you but when we fall back and get an extra hour of sleep in November, I have no complaints at all. But, when it comes to March and "springing forward" I have other thoughts.
But, when I stop my complaining - and think - I am reminded of how amazing God is. How the earth rotates around the sun, how seasons change, how there's a natural rhythm in life. Plants grow. Animals find food. Mankind has Starbucks.
Whether or not we agree with observing Daylight Savings, we can agree that our God, the perfect Creator, made everything and He is worthy to be praised!
Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
He is in control - He is sovereign, and we can put our trust in Him always!
