Tisch's Tidbits
March is around the corner coupled with flowers and sunshine!
This week we will taking the written portion of ISTEP. We will be testing in the mornings Tuesday through the following Monday.
Due to ISTEP taking place this week, I have made a deal with the kids that we will not have a spelling list this week and the work will be minimal as long as they get good sleep and eat a good breakfast in the mornings. We have talked about this being a celebration of what they know! They can do it!
Thank you for the many donations! The pencils that have been sent in have already been sharpened and will be used this week. This is an ongoing list if you would still like to donate. :)

PARENTS OF 4th GRADE STUDENTS: RUTH LILLY HEALTH CENTER PREVIEW EVENING
This spring, 4th grade students will participate in a short program delivered by the Ruth Lilly Health Education Center called "Ready, Set, Grow!" Trained content experts from Ruth Lilly will provide age-appropriate information to boys and girls (in separate groups) on the emotional and physical changes of puberty, reproductive anatomy, and personal hygiene. This short presentation to 4th graders has been an annual part of instruction in ZCS elementary schools. Parents interested in learning more about the Ruth Lillyhealth program are welcome to attend a preview evening on March 9th from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Educational Services Center (enter at door 11).
