Field Trip
We are excited for our field trip on Wednesday! Please read the important information below.
- If your student did not order and pay for a lunch ahead of time, please send your child's packed lunch in a disposable container (paper or ziplock bag) on Wednesday. All items must be disposable. Do not send any non-disposable items.
- If you volunteered to chaperone, please plan on meeting us at 10am at the Executive Mansion. Please email me (knoland@wcpss.net) by the end of the day on Monday if you plan on being there and are able to take a group. *Remember-volunteers have to have clearance in order to chaperone on a field trip.
- I have an important job for someone. I am in need one parent volunteer to meet us at school at 8:45 with a cooler to pick up our lunches, drive them to the museum of history, store them in their storage room and then be responsible for grabbing the cooler at 12:10 before lunch. If you can do this important job for us please email me (knoland@wcpss.net).
- Chaperones, see the itinerary below. Students must ride the bus to and from the museum.

Science Fair
I hope we have a lot of participation from our class at this year's science fair! You can find very detailed information about how your child can participate HERE. All students who participate in the science fair will earn a pass for ONE WEEK off of homework! If your child wants to participate, but you are unable to help them please let me know and I can do my best to support them at school.
This year in an effort to get more participation we are having a competition. Participating classrooms will complete a whole class science project. All classroom projects within a single grade will be judge against each other. Our class will definitely be doing this. I will need a parent helper once we decide on our idea. Please let me know if you can help!
