Happy Thursday! Your children are taking their STAR tests and many are showing growth! That means that all of their hard work is paying off-especially for the children that are reading daily and taking AR tests. Thank you for making sure your child is reading every day with you! You are the most important teacher your child will ever have! It is obvious that our children come from loving, caring, and responsible families-that is why our kids are so amazing!!

This Friday, our 4th graders will go to Mt. Triumph Baptist Church to hear the guest speaker and to enjoy lunch. We are very honored to be able to learn more about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his contribution to our world. Remember, NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 18th in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Enjoy your children on this special occasion and we will be back on Tuesday, January 19th.

Ronald McDonald will be visiting us on Tuesday, January 19th at 9:30 for 1st and 2nd and at 10:15 for 3rd and 4th. He will be talking to us about the importance of being a good friend!

PTO MEETING Thursday, January 28th at 5:30!

Our Book Fair will start Monday, February 1st to 5th. Our family night will be Tuesday, February 2nd.

Be ready for Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday, February 11th from 3:30-6:30 and Friday, February 12th from 8:00-12:00.

Our Valentine Party will be Thursday, February 11th at 1:00.
